For more than 15-plus years I have been promoting tejano Internet
Websites, banners, flyers, including CA-AZ-TX-CO-UT-KS-MI-WA-OR groups,
tejano organizations and
associations, radios, eRadios, DJs, bands, singers, conjuntos, new and
established artists, given and exchanged business cards too many to
count!
|
I have also promoted chatrooms to message boards,
signed guestbooks and visited picture galleries
on the Internet highway! ...
posted Ads for clubs and venues, dances, fundraisers,
innumerable flyers
from benefits to quincianeras and from bowling tournaments to sending
kids to Disneyland. Quite honestly and with all my sincere heart folks ...
"What a wonderful world it has been all
these years! ... really great meeting so many good people out there!"

This magic carpet ride hasn't been that smooth either, I
mean,
I have bought, used, crashed, burned, damaged, hit, used profane
language, cussed, kicked,
and replaced about 6-7 computers since 1995,
and along the way I had two massive hard disk failures; lost
everything! Two computers went straight to the garbage can! ...
one was a Packard Bell and the other one a Commodore 128; yes I had
one of those early toys! I did buy two IBM Personal computers that cost me
'two arms,
two legs, and one kid', but they were good at the time. Now
they're in garage full of spider webs, crickets, and
gathering dust. I do turn them on once a year to
keep them alive and kicking, but I do wonder if I
can get all the money back from Big Blue.
Along this Yahoo-Google
Chrome-Ask-MySpace-QuePasa-Microsoft-Twitter-Bing-HP-Facebook-MSN-Mozilla Firefox-Netscape-Apple
Safari-IE1 through IE8-Windows95-to-Windows7
modern age lifespan and civilized and uncivilized computerized
society? ... whew!, I have made a lot of Onda Tejana fans, got some on my
side, made new friends from all over the country both real
and virtual, lost some, a number of them abandoned the music ship
forever and never to be seen again! [ Hello! ] I
made some people happy, made some
real real happy! 5 or 6 mad
and happy - and got a handful of people mad; some
real real mad!
But then again and realistically tejanos out
there reading this epilogue, we all
have a
barometer in the real life and moods swing daily I guess, yet, we know
our physical boundaries and where our corporeal selves begin and end! |
Well, quite honestly
and in all seriousness, my own overall
analysis states:
This is the way and
nature of this music business we are in, and
at times the effectual results of our daily
lives. And you must determine that the Internet dialogue and
controversies for example - never ever end.
In contrast and with a lot of respect to all
of you reading this, I cannot please
everybody and all the time with my actions,
tejano dialogue, one-on-one
conversations, trips to Texas, and/or my
viewpoints on La Onda Tejana as it is today.
My true friends and no matter what happens
today in this world of ours, what tomorrow
will bring or in the year 2051, I am still the same person you
met many years ago.

I bring into play this page summation, site
link closure, and a music strategy below
for the
many long-time supporters of TEJANOmike, Mike Carmona, the many
visitors and members of the TAB, and this
complete tejano music Website:
"I know some of you personally; others only by cell
phone calls and conversations; a few with just virtual IDs
only, still, we've been around for years now and have
continued helping one another without any human reservations. Surprisingly, the majority of you are still here with La
Onda Tejana after all these good music years.
Along this pathway many people have contributed
to
my own advancement and
Website development. Many close
friends and family members have even played critical roles in sound advice,
clarity in vision, and just being there with me every step
of the way."
"I thank the many tejanos I have met and worked with
here in Arizona for the past eight years, I thank
all my friends in California and Texas, and the
many supporters from other states as well. Thank you for playing a part
in our tejano music industry, assisting La Onda in
your own way, supporting tejano artists from
around the country,
and being concern about the global information world of music."
