The paradox:
You can’t go back, but you can bring things forward.
“Bringing back the past” ...
Is one of those phrases that can mean a dozen different things depending on where your heart is pointed. It can be nostalgia, longing, frustration with the present, or even a desire to reclaim values that feel lost - good tejano music.

Back in 1974, in San Jose CA, I used to play with a small group that played light rock, a few tejano covers, and oldies. I played drums with them for about four years and really, just a lot of fun weekends back then. I recorded these tracks below with a ten cent portable recorder, so I apologize for the poor engineering and bad sound. Oh well. Anyway, that's what this link is about ... memories.
